Private sponsor of Bas Hordijk.

Bas Hordijk died on Friday, July 30, 1977, during the professional round of Santpoort.

After riding 25/30 laps, Bas Hordijk got off because he was suffering too much from the heat.

Not much later he had a heart attack, resuscitation was to no avail and Bas Hordijk tragically came to an end in Santpoort.

The Tuesday before, Bas also got off in Obbicht. He did not make it to the start of the Acht van Chaam on Wednesday. On Thursday in Wateringen, Bas was completely fit again, but unfortunately things went badly in Santpoort.

Shirt received from Marathon skater Rinie de Roon, a training partner of Bas Hordijk.
