Questa squadra di ciclisti professionisti \u00e8 stata fondata nel 1973 con il marchio di bevande analcoliche Canada Dry e il marchio di biciclette Gazelle come sponsor. La squadra \u00e8 stata attiva nel gruppo professionistico per 1 stagione e, sotto la guida del direttore sportivo Ton Vissers, ha preso parte a importanti competizioni, tra cui le classiche e il Tour de France. La squadra era composta da un mix di corridori promettenti ed esperti. Compresi i corridori di successo Rini Wagtmans (vittorie di tappa al Tour de France) e Jan Krekels (vittorie di tappa al Tour de France 1971).<\/p>\n<p>Nel 1973 parteciparono al Tour de France, in realt\u00e0 non avevano abbastanza corridori (buoni) per il Tour. Ecco perch\u00e9 2 corridori sono stati ingaggiati in Portogallo solo per il Tour de France, nessuno li parlava, non parlavano inglese e non \u00e8 stato un grande successo. Dopo il tour sono scomparsi nell&#039;anonimato.
