The Comunitat Valenciana is a continuation of the KELME team that stopped a few years earlier.

Following the example of several other teams, the COMINITAT VALENCIANA team decided to dissolve at the end of August 2006.

This is because of the negative publicity and negative image of cycling surrounding the entire FUENTES doping scandal.

The team played an important role in this whole process and was therefore not given a starting ticket for the TOUR DE FRANCE and the VUELTA D ESPANA.

All 24 riders and support staff were left without work. What a doping scandal can do!!!
