Dutch Championship shirt of Wim Dielissen.

In the club magazine of WV De Dommelstreek at the time I read an article by one of our members who worked as a plumber (I have forgotten his name). During a job in Huize Engelsbergen he saw a picture of a cyclist hanging in the living room. As a cyclist he was of course curious about it, it turned out to be the husband of Mrs Dielissen.

A few weeks later he interviewed her for the club magazine, when I read that it was not very difficult as a postman to trace Mrs. Dielissen, especially because I regularly delivered the mail to Huize Engelsbergen. So I put a note in the mailbox with a story about my collection and that my father had raced with her husband.

After a few weeks a nice reaction back and quite soon after that I went to Mrs. Dielissen for coffee, nice stories etc. etc. Viewed photos about her husband's career. After an hour and a half the big surprise came, she still had 2 champion shirts from 1950 from her husband WIM DIELISSEN and I got 1 for my collection !!!!!!!!!!!

Still the oldest shirt in my collection so far.
