Product Description

In 1948 my father received his first Amateur license.

He rode his races as an amateur until 1958 (mainly in Belgium), with the exception of his years as a conscripted soldier from 1949 to 1951.

In 1959 he turned 30 and could no longer compete in races in Belgium because when you turned 30 it was no longer possible as an amateur.

So he was forced to take a professional license (until 1965) to be able to continue racing in Belgium.

In his stories about his professional period I often heard stories about the MANN team and that the peloton sometimes saw yellow because of the MANN shirts. In 1965, no fewer than 60 riders rode with the MANN team.

So I had to and would like to have such a MANN shirt for my collection, there must have been enough.

When I finally showed my first MANN shirt to my father, he laughed softly and said: Finally your bedroom is now also yellow from the MANN shirts!!!
