Product Description

Special shirt for the last stage of the TOUR DE FRANCE 2010 (25 July).

7-time Tour winner Lance Armstrong wanted to end his second cycling life with a statement.

However, this was not appreciated by the UCI officials.

RADIOSHACK came to the start wearing a black shirt with the number 28 on the back.

The number 28 refers to the 28 million people who suffer from cancer, and on the side is the name of the LIVESTRONG foundation, the organization with which Armstrong fights cancer.

The shirts had to be taken off before the start and replaced by the original team shirts, rules are rules, the team was told.

Due to all the bickering, the stage started fifteen minutes late.

The RADIOSHACK riders were fined 200 Swiss Francs each, the RADIOSHACK team another 4500 Swiss Francs. The UCI announced that it would donate the equivalent of 4000 Euros to the fight against cancer.
